Summary

The Shreveport Guaranteed Income Program provided $660 per month for 12 months to eligible single parents or guardians with low incomes. 

Parents or guardians had to reside in Shreveport or Caddo Parish, to have a child between the ages of three and 20 living with them, and to have a household income less than or equal to 120 percent of the federal poverty level at the time of application. Participants were offered optional financial education and benefit navigation services.

The program was implemented in Shreveport, LA.
